For the first time since the season tipped off on November 4th, Michigan has a full week’s rest before its next game (Wednesday against Oklahoma in Charlotte). The Wolverines are off to an 8-2 start through the first third of Dusty May’s first season in charge.
They’ve moved up 12 spots in KenPom to 24th and won high-major games over Wisconsin, Iowa, Xavier, and TCU. However, they’ve also lost a pair of single-possession games to Arkansas and Wake Forest. This roster has promise and is improving but is still far from a finished product.
With no games this weekend and a ten-game sample size on the record, it felt like a good time to recap what we’ve learned about this Michigan team through the first five weeks of the season.
