Could be wrong but there was discussion on why trey was benched. I think it had to do with his consistent off ball defemse where he randomly runs after the guy with the ball which leads to open shots. He has a really bad habit of doing that

Could be just the homer in me, but I disagreed with how easily you both gave the nod to Purdue being the better team after talking about them being essentially entirely reliant on Smith and TKR to do everything on offense. It’s not that I think Michigan is better, I would agree that Purdue is more of an established team with reliable production but I would argue that you wouldn’t expect them to improve much more from where they are at(more of a finished product than a work in progress).

Michigan is a team that has been playing together for a few months and while there is more variance in what you get from Michigan that variance doesn’t only swing down(they play worse) I would argue that the ceiling is higher than Purdue even if they may not reach that potential before the end of the year. All that being said, I feel good about Dusty being the one behind the wheel trying to pull their best basketball out over the remaining games of the season.

I mean Purdue is like 12 spots higher on KP, and won on aggregate by like 30 points. Also resume wise is above Michigan

Purdue is obviously better but who cares? OSU was better than M in football this szn but we did not give a fucc.

Better is more predictive, perhaps Purdue will go further in the BTT or March Madness. But Go Blue baby a win’s a win baby
