Q1 Wearing them down in the second half
How much did you feel like you guys just wore them down in the second half, especially on the glass?
Oh, yeah, they was tired early in the game, man. Like, we're very deep, you know, that helped us a lot. Yeah, especially with number 51 being out, it hurt them a lot. With us sticking with it, being consistent, not getting too tired, getting too low.
Q2 Late defensive stops that sealed it
What changed about those last few defensive possessions that kind of forced some misses for them and helped you guys clinch it in the end there?
I think our whole second half defensively was better than the first half. I think we were talking. I think we was just not doing the second part of communication, which is listening to each other, having our ears open, you know? We talked about that at halftime, you know? And I know we didn't do good on the offensive end, start the second half, right? But that'll figure out itself. We just have to lock in on defensive end.
Q18 Trey McKenney's growth this year
Trey hit a couple big threes in the first half too when you guys were down 10. Have you seen his growth this year?
For sure. He's definitely matured since November. He's not the same player as he was in November as he is now. He's very important for us. You know, he come off the bench, he give us that boost of energy every time he on the floor. We know we gonna get out of Trey every night.
