Q1 Yaxel Lendeborg's fight and big shot

Man, they're really holding it together for us. What about Yaxel?

I mean, just the way that he kept on fighting. I mean, the first half he told Tracy Wilson, he said, these are the two worst games I've ever played in my career. And then for him to take that shot and hit that shot. Well, he should have said those are one of the

It means we have a really tough game tomorrow. Pick-and-roll, pick-and-roll. All that other stuff, you guys can figure that out later. We'll talk about that some later.

Right now, we're— just like tonight, we're learning about ourselves. We're still discovering more about our team. All that other stuff, look, we want to compete for championships, but you don't compete for a championship without what we're going to do in preparation now and when we set foot on the floor for 80 possessions.

Q2 Close games before Hawaii tournament

Your seed is kind of already decided, but to be in these two close games like this, how much can this help you come into the Hawaii tournament?

hopefully we don't have to refer back to it too often. If you refer back to it too often during too many of these games, we're going to try to figure out a different way to win. We'd like to play a little cleaner and cut better and screen better. But I think overall it's the other stuff that's healthier than the actual game.

We went through some stuff and we got it out and we talked through things and we re-centered after some— these were extreme runs. These weren't like the normal 6, 7, 8-0 runs. These seemed like waves of runs. We went on a big one, then they went on a big one.

So you just— we got to keep going. But I think it's more that we're still growing together as a group is more important than the actual, like, what Wisconsin did or what— I can't even— UCLA, USC, Nebraska, Ohio

Q4 Team composure in close games

Talking to the team, the biggest word that they use is composure. And it seemed like they had that once again. What gives them that composure to stay this composed in a game like

June, July, August, September. Our staff, our strength coach, we put these guys in incredibly competitive environments and expect them to respond the right way. And they have from day one. And when they haven't, then we use that as learning lessons. There were a few times where we felt like Will Farrell in the soccer league was more like, hey, vaca laja. We had a little of that tonight.

It's good, and just, I think the belief they have in each other is the ultimate.
