Q1 Mindset after Big Ten loss
Your first Big Ten tournament obviously didn't end the way you wanted. Where's your mind at right now? Where's the team's mind at right now?
I think we're just, you know, trying to bounce back. I mean, that was a pretty tough loss. I mean, they played a really good game. At the end of the day, all you can do is just congratulate them. So, I think we just have to come into this postseason, NCAA tournament, hungry.
Q3 Lessons to carry into March
I think we're going to bounce back. I think that'll be our last loss. Is there stuff that you can take lessons from this sort of like precursor to the NCAA tournament that you can carry into March? Yeah. Later games?
Really just honing in on key guys on the opposite end. I think we just, we let their big 3 beat us. When you want to win a national championship, that's not something you can live with every game. Game. So we just have to hone in on every opposing team's best players.
Q4 Number 1 seed and the sting
Will finding out you're a number 1 seed take the sour taste of this loss out of your mouth, or will that not come again till you get back on the court and are able to play the game you guys want to play start to finish and win?
I don't know. I mean, you never want to lose like that. They really played a really good game. They didn't miss a lot of shots. So I mean, at the end of the day, you can just, you know, hang your head on that. But I mean, being a number 1 seed, sometimes a lot of teams treat you— yeah, I think It's a really cool thing, and, you know, I think we're just going to have to bounce back in the NCAA tournament and hope that some guys develop.
