Q1 Mood and disappointment after loss
I guess give us a sense of, I mean, the mood and just the disappointment.
It hurts. You know, we can't feel too bad because, you know, we still have more games to play. The season isn't over yet, but it definitely hurts. We put a lot into this season to try to, you know, make it historic.
We had another chance to do that tonight and today, and we didn't do it. Capitalized, but, you know, I'm still just glad that we had to have fun today and have something to learn from this. You know, we can't let our physicality drop or our edge, or this is gonna happen to us.
Q4 Handling their 11-of-13 start
It's rare to see a team make 11 of their first 13 shots to start a second half. Are you more disappointed with how you guys handled it, or do you just kind of tip your to them with the way they were playing.
I'm absolutely more disappointed on how we handled it. We are the best defensive team in the country and we didn't show that tonight. You know, we have Aday Mara, who's one of the best down-low defenders I've ever had, played against, played with, I mean. And today they just got the best of us, you know, so they did a great job.
Q7 Getting swagger back tonight
It felt like you were doing that, a couple aggressive drives, some made threes. Do you feel like you— I mean, after a slow start to the tournament, do you feel like you sort of got your swagger back a bit?
Yeah, absolutely. I just have to be more aggressive. There's not really many people in college basketball that can stay in front of me. That's what Coach tells me all the time, you know. So I just got to believe in myself rather than him having to tell me, you know. I started feeling it a little bit later on in the game, but it was definitely too late.
