Yaxel Lendeborg reacts to win vs. Howard

Oh yeah, we all year we've been relying on that pretty much. Besides when L.J. comes in the game, he pretty much is our only scorer, you know, pretty much selfless guy. But other than that, the team thrives off of that. You know, we all move the ball.

We like playing for each other and nobody has like individual goals here to just be, you know, the best player, the best scorer, you know. So, uh, when we get into games like this where, you know, we start off slow, when the team starts flowing, it really works out for us and helps everybody's mojo.

Yeah, absolutely. I watched the Texas A&M game with him like 4 times. You know, we do it in the locker room too, just to, you know, just to tease him a little bit and some Ohio State highlights where he used to shoot hesi pull-ups and stuff like that. So I mean, I'm really excited to see how he, you know, performs coming March.

He always talks about March Roddy Gayle and how he has like a downside in February. So I want to see the difference between those 2 guys.

He had a lot of people here, you know, the whole family here. They had cutouts of him kissing his mom and stuff. So it's like, it's really nice to have that supporting staff here, you know, and I'm sure he's gonna play his heart out no matter what. When you guys are out there and the crowd is reacting to the other game on the screen, did you realize what was going on?

Yeah, I was looking too. It was a North Carolina VCU. I think they had like upset, so I was, I was invested too. It was hard to try to focus on the game and that. So I mean, I was hoping I got on the bench so I could watch it, but I couldn't.
