Yaxel Lendeborg reacts to win vs. Alabama

Moments like this are everything, you know. It was a, it was a really big, like, shot or just big trust in myself that I put into coming back to college when I could have easily messed up my draft stock, anything, whatever you want to say. But, um, you know, I came here wanting to be a champion, wanted to put myself in a higher stage and prove myself even more, you know.

So being able to dominate or, you know, just play good at the highest level right now, it's amazing, you know. There's many times where I just I get goosebumps thinking about it. I'm like speechless, you know, get emotional, whatever you want to say. But it definitely means the world to be able to do what I'm doing now.

Yeah, Will especially was the one I kept saying, no, no, no, they didn't, they didn't. But once I heard that they did, I did kind of feel bad because I definitely wanted to talk to Nate Oats. I was a big fan of those guys over there. But yeah, no, Just because of Will's encouragement, I definitely still took it like they didn't recruit me.

Tried to stick it to them in a way, but obviously, there's no bad blood. I definitely love the program. I was a Big Ten, like I said before. But it means a lot to be able to get this win over an SEC team.

SEC has always been a power conference. It was super fun to be able to share the court with these guys. Thank you. Yes, sir.

Did you root for Michigan State or no? To make it, if that is possible? You know, I'm new to the robbery. So the whole Big Ten can get in there.

Yeah, I'm new to robbery, man, but nah, I don't think I can. I get a lot of hate from those guys, so I'm gonna just get them out of here. Roddy, that connection between you and Roddy felt pretty palpable tonight. Did you feel that too?

Yes, I did, man. Yes, I did. Yes. You know, me and Trey especially, we always talk about him having to shoot the ball a lot more. You know, we work out, we shoot the ball every single day.

We were definitely talking about that. Me, I feel like I was the worst off-ball defensively today, and maybe on-ball too. I had a very bad defensive game, but I definitely tried my best to just to be able to, you know, get in the lanes and stun that, uh, drive. He was killing us all day, you know.

I gave up a little bit too many threes today, but other than that, our defensive physicality picked up a lot. Um, you know, we definitely started blocking a couple threes too, which made them second-guess their three-pointers, you know. And that helped us out a lot, you know, just being able to dictate what they want to do instead of them having to dictate it.
