Nimari Burnett previews Tennessee

Yeah, great personalities, great people. Every single one of the guys that Coach recruited is unselfish and doing whatever it takes to win, and winning is the priority. And that's what allowed us to play very well defensively and have elite defensive caliber players out there like the Diamond Reds, Yaxel Lendeborg, but also us guards can get after it as well. So it allows us to— I mean, the sky is the limit for us.

He established a culture by creating a program that was unselfish and that was built on great people. And that's what I noticed about him firsthand. He wasn't just— and he told me this coming in— he was like, I'm not just recruiting talent, I'm recruiting people, I'm recruiting personalities, and I'm recruiting unselfish personalities. And that's exactly what he has done throughout the past 2 years. Years of him being here.

Yeah, when he first got here, I mean, Dusty May had already done tons of work with, you know, communication and establishing how he wants to play. And I remember when Dusty May got Elliot Cadeau in the portal, he was like, we recruited a wizard. I didn't know who he was talking about at that point. And when it was Elliot Cadeau and I played with him, I was like, I understand.

So just having that communication with Elliot Cadeau. He understood quickly how Dusty May wants to play, and that's to play fast but controlled and having a sharp mind mentally.
