Q4 Matching physicality on tape

Much talk about physicality going into this game. How do you think your team did matching the tape?

We've been able to match physicality all year. That's more of us just pointing out and stressing what's going to allow us to win a game or cause us to lose. We have the depth, we have the stamina, we have the physical stature to compete against anyone. So it's more just a reminder, a mindset shift.

Q5 What still amazes him

Does this team do anything that amazes you at this time?

Yes, how they continue to not become selfish in any way. They just keep sharing everything, they keep supporting each other, and that's difficult to do in this climate of athletics and our society as a whole.

Q8 Elliot Cadeau's growth in the run

You've referred to Elliot Cadeau as your brainchild before, what you guys do here. During that 21-0 run, how rewarding is it to see him moving the ball like he was and just to kind of see the culmination of his growth throughout this year?

Yeah, he's a wizard. I mean, to see what he was doing, he was turning down open shots. Turning down layups to get everybody involved. And, and that really becomes contagious when you have someone that shot the ball as well as he has this year.

He doesn't care if he shoots, um, he supports his teammates. He thinks, uh, for all of us at times. And just very, very grateful because he— there's no way we're in this situation if L.J. wasn't here with us. What was it like to see Charlie kind of have his own first moment?

Really cool for obviously our families. That's The most rewarding part of all is to see everyone who has poured into us, our players, in one spot, just feeling a part of it. And so Charlie, Howard, our walk-ons, they sacrifice a lot as well. They go through strongman, they lift every day, and they rarely get a part, they rarely get to be a part of the actual game.

And so to come in and have those moments and get a great assist from Will Tschetter, I thought it was just It was a cool moment, but more proud about the long rebound he came up with than the shot.
