Q8 Team buying into the habits

What's it like seeing you guys buy into those habits and then actually coming to fruition?

Um, it's been a journey. It's been beautiful, and this has been the easiest, most seamless team that I've ever been a part of, just personality-wise, on the court. We just flow. And I mean, I don't think it'll be another team like this, um, I mean, that I'll play for, that these guys play for, just the overall feel for it.

So I'm just soaking up the moment, just happy to be a part of it. Just believing in Dusty May, and obviously I did tons of research, especially throughout the course of my collegiate career. You know, been through a lot of ups and downs, but I talked to a lot of people and they all had the same thing to say about Dusty May, and that shows me that he's a consistent guy and that, you know, we can build a relationship and, I mean, the program back up to where Michigan, you know, is used to being.

Q9 Will Tschetter staying at Michigan

Was like one of those players who stayed his entire career at Michigan. He was really emotional. Like, what does that say about him? Like, that his journey, like, he stayed with you as long as possible?

Yeah, it's been so many times throughout Will's collegiate career that he could have transferred and, you know, done what was quote unquote best for himself, but he felt like Michigan was the place to be throughout the course of his career. And I remember when Dusty May came in and he had talked to Dusty May first. I'm like, what you think about him?

And he was like, he's a great dude. He's gonna be huge for us. I think you should stay. And I was like, I'm gonna talk to him, but I trust you.

Q10 Summing up college journey

How did you reflect on your basketball journey? Like obviously Alabama, Purdue, UCLA, Texas Tech, to Michigan. Like how would you sum up just your entire college career?

I sum it up as a beautiful journey that's taught me how to become a man, to think like a man, and to be mature about every single aspect that I I face, and it's allowed me to not be deterred by adversity that you hit and continue to prevail through it. So I would just call it perseverance. And I mean, they always say those who stay are champions, and I feel like a huge part of that.
