Yaxel Lendeborg reacts to win vs. Arizona

Uh, it didn't really feel, uh, too good, but it wasn't like bad, you know, detrimental, you know. Um, on my cuts, I did— I felt like two pinchy feelings on both sides of my knee. Uh, Coach said at worst it'd be like an MCL sprain, um, or LCL. So I'm playing Monday night regardless, man. As long as I wake up tomorrow and can't walk on it, I can play that game.

I mean, man, I told these guys from day one, man, there's no way that I'm gonna miss any game no matter what. I love these guys, they love me, man. They handle business tonight, man. I'm super grateful. I was a little worried about how I was feeling, but once I got back out there, I just felt like nothing else mattered.

Yeah. Um, I try my best to get up as quickly as possible to try to not dwell with the pain, you know, try to walk it off. Uh, I didn't, it didn't get walked off, but you know, you know, you live and you learn, man. Next time, not take off in front of 3 people and, uh, you know, play a little more You know, so— was that a scary moment to get this far and turn like that?

Absolutely. Yeah. I definitely felt like I did all this for nothing in the moment. You know, I definitely had to calm down for a little bit, speak with myself, you know, get outta my thoughts.

The training staff, they were being very nice to me, you know, just being genuine, you know, just assuring me that I'm gonna be okay. So it definitely made me feel a lot better in my heart.
