Q1 Defensive role with Dusty May

People in the right spots and move the ball. I think it was the— was Wisconsin game in the Big Ten tournament where Dusty talked about kind of saying we're going to put Trey on the ball defensively, maybe it was the Ohio State game, I can't remember which one, but that he wanted to give you more responsibility with that end of the court too. Am I remembering that right? Yeah, I think it might have been the Ohio State game. Was it Ohio State?

Yeah. But what was that like for you because you were just talking about offense, but there's a defensive aspect to it as well. Yeah, I definitely think my defense is pretty underrated. I think I've

come a long way defensively. I think my communication really stands out on defense. So I think, you know, when you're into it,

it and communicate on defense. You know, it's just all about toughness. So I think I bring really good level of toughness on defense.

Q2 Making history with family

That's why I try to impact. Have you been able to see the family while you're here, Trey? Um, a little bit last night. A little bit? Yeah. So what's it like, man, making history in front of the family here at Lucas Oil Stadium?

It's amazing. I mean, just for them to be able to support me in the biggest moments. I mean, this is— yesterday was the biggest game of my career. Now tomorrow's going to be the biggest game of my career. So I mean, it's just amazing to be able to have them here. I'm just really grateful to have a really great support system that cares about me and loves on me the way they do. We

Q3 Dusty May's detailed preparation

Showed on the broadcast last night that Dusty May was scouting the team before you guys even went out and played the first game. And then also you guys were in the Big House a little while ago taking shots to get depth perception, just trying to practice for any given moment, just like shooting in an NFL stadium. He was talking about having a coach that not only just coaches the basics but goes above and beyond and really thinks about the analytics of every possible situation you guys could be put in, in a a tournament like this?

I mean, he's a great coach. I think he just thinks the game through a lot, but he's also a player's coach. I think he just does a really good job of just trusting us and letting us, you know, play through mistakes. But I think he's really good when it comes to, you know, preparing for teams. So I think when we come in these big games, we're just really prepared and we're able to just play free and play basketball.
