It was a busy Friday for Michigan on the NBA Draft declaration deadline. The Wolverines received a commitment from Moustapha Thiam and saw Aday Mara and Morez Johnson Jr. make their NBA Draft declarations official. Both players are leaving the option to return open, but are expected to stay in the draft.
In a few hours’ worth of announcements, the 2026-27 Michigan basketball roster outlook was suddenly much clearer. It’s going to be a new look frontcourt in Ann Arbor, but it’s going to be another good one.
