Q22 Keeping the team together after change
You were one of the first guys that Made it known that you were going to stay after the coaching change. Can you take me through what was your role in kind of keeping the team together after that coaching change?
I'm really just trying to keep everybody together because we knew like the new guys were super nervous. I mean, they didn't obviously— they just got here like a couple days before that and they didn't really understand what was going on. So I think the biggest thing for me was just to keep everybody together.
Q24 What teammates told each other
In those first couple days and weeks, I mean, you mentioned the uncertainty, like what were you guys telling each other?
Really just that, you know, that we thought Coach Boynton was going to be the guy for the Because he was the guy in this program that, you know, had coaching experience and he knew how Michigan basketball rolls. And I mean, yeah, we knew that we wanted Coach Boynton for the job because he does a lot for this program. He did a lot last year and we all trusted him, so we thought he was the guy.
Q31 Areas to grow this offseason
Where did you identify as maybe a place to grow this offseason?
I think just obviously we don't have like a true backup wingman this year, so just being on the ball more and trying to get more comfortable on the ball. I mean, obviously I Time with that throughout the tournament and the Big Ten tournament and kind of later in the season. But I think just trying to get more comfortable with it is going to be super good for me.
