Q6 Asserting himself in second half
Is the thought second half in a close game that it's time for you to assert yourself more offensively?
Yeah, for sure. I thought it was definitely time for me to assert myself. I feel like their ball screen coverage gave me a lot of options and I wanted to be aggressive with the ball screen.
Q15 Quinn Costello kick-out passes
Does Quinn Costello kind of have the green light from you whenever you get it to him, kick it out in the corner? It seems like it's a move you feel pretty comfortable making.
Yeah, for sure. He's one of the best shooters I ever played with in my life. So, and he's 6'10, so that gives him a lot more room to shoot. So, um, we definitely want him to shoot whenever he sees an inch of space. We want him to shoot every time.
Q19 Volume of three-point shooting
This team shoots a lot of 3s through these 2 games so far. I mean, are you comfortable with the volume you're at and, and comparatively to what you're shooting on the inside?
Yeah, for sure. I think like Our balance between 3s and 2s is a good one, especially since we have a lot of talented shooters. I feel like when we're shooting these shots, like on a good day, we'll probably be able to beat any team in the country. We didn't shoot as well today, but we all have confidence that we can shoot better.
I feel like we can be a lot better. Just working on it every day and just being able to talk more on defense and just playing harder. I feel like that's the 5 things I'm going to do better.
