Michigan didn’t have its senior on Senior Night, but Charles Matthews was surplus to requirements. The Wolverines opened up a 10-2 lead against Nebraska and then cruised to an 82-53 win.
Matthews watched from the sideline with his right foot in a boot due to an ankle injury suffered on Sunday against Michigan State and is day-to-day in his recovery.
It was Michigan’s frontcourt that carried it to the victory. Jon Teske (22 points) and Ignas Brazdeikis (20 points) led the way while Isaiah Livers (12) and Colin Castleton (11) also chipping in with double figures.
