Recruiting Roundup: Where things stand after July evaluation period

The July evaluation period wrapped up over the weekend which means the recruiting calendar is about to shift. Instead of tracking coaches, it is time to track lists and visits.

College coaches spent most of the last month watching prospects at various grassroots events across the country, resulting in new offers and new priorities for most schools. Now, prospects will line up visits to the schools at the top of their lists and make their decisions.

August and September are the traditional official visit season in the recruiting calendar and those visits tend to lead to commitments. The Wolverines are expected to host a pair of top-40 prospects for official visits this week and commitments and list cuts will start to fly on Twitter rapidly over the coming days and weeks.

Here’s the latest on Michigan’s basketball recruiting after an eventful July evaluation period.
