Michigan sophomore wing Sam Walters will enter the transfer portal, as first reported by League Ready.
Walters is a 6-foot-10 transfer from Alabama who committed to Michigan last summer after Dusty May was hired.
He averaged 5 points, 1.6 rebounds, and .6 assists per game, making 26-of-71 (36.6%) 3-point attempts. Walters played his last game on February 8th, when a back injury kept him out for the rest of the season.
He didn’t travel with the Wolverines during the postseason.
Walters is the third transfer to leave Michigan this offseason, joining freshman guard Justin Pippen and Jace Howard (who will pursue a medical redshirt).
