Film Room: Defensive growing pains, Elliot Cadeau’s takeover vs. Oregon State

Joe Jackson goes to the film on Michigan’s 98-93 exhibition win over Oregon State, starting with a defense that’s still figuring out when to switch and when to help. The offense was a different story: 1.27 points per possession on a night the Wolverines shot just 25% from three, powered by free throws, zero wasted possessions, and a few sets worth bookmarking. Then there’s Elliot Cadeau, who took over in the second half and looked like a player who understands his role has changed this season.
