It had been previously reported that Michigan would participate in the Preseason NIT for the 2012-13 season but the other three featured teams had yet to be revealed. CBS Sports.com’s Jeff Goodman is reporting that Pittsburgh, Kansas State and Virginia are the three teams that will be slotted to join Michigan at Madison Square Garden.

Dates: Nov. 21, 23
Teams: Michigan, Pittsburgh, Kansas State, Virginia
Others: Fordham, Bowling Green, Delaware, Fairfield, Cleveland State, Lamar, Robert Morris, North Texas
Michigan will host regional opening rounds of the tournament at the Crisler Center but, unlike other more recent tournaments, host schools are not guaranteed to advance to the semifinals.
