According to a report by CBS Sports, Michigan will host SMU this season at the Crisler Center.
Michigan and SMU will face off on December 20th, 2014 and a return date will be scheduled in Dallas in 2015, according to Jon Rothstein’s report.
SMU went 27-10 last season, just missing the NCAA tournament and losing to Minnesota in the NIT. The Mustangs are projected as a top-15 team next season.
SMU returns its top two scorers from a year ago, Markus Kennedy and Nic Moore, but Larry Brown also signed 6-foot-5 guard Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay is the 247Sports Composite No. 2 player in the incoming class and is projected as a top five NBA Draft pick in 2015.
The Wolverines are also scheduled to travel to Arizona, host Syracuse in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge and travel to Brooklyn for the Legends Classic, which will include two games against VCU, Villanova or Oregon. Find a full run down of future scheduled dates here
