Juwan Howard joined Jim Harbaugh’s podcast today for some of his first public comments as Michigan’s head coach. The new man in charge discussed recruiting, his new coaching staff and much more on the podcast.

On recruiting:
“Unofficial visits are planned coming up soon. As far as official visits, I’ve been on the phone recruiting. I have one player that has committed to come in the fall, which I am very excited about. I actually invited him to a football game because I want him to get that true Michigan experience of what it’s like to be on campus when the students are there while football games are happening that weekend and also players are back playing basketball and competing. He’s looking forward to it. I can’t wait for him to get him up on campus, I think he’s going to be really special.”
