Michigan announced its 2019-20 non-conference schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Wolverines will face a loaded slate in Juwan Howard’s first year in charge of the program.
Here are five thoughts on the schedule and what it will mean for the early months of Howard’s tenure.
1. December will feel like February
Michigan will play a gauntlet stretch in late November and early December that could feature seven games against major conference teams or national contenders in 17 days. That’s the kind of stretch that you expect to play in the doldrums of February, but it will be especially painful early in the year.
