On a weekend that saw a slew of visitors for Michigan basketball, Greg Brown III was perhaps the biggest.
The class of 2020 forward from Austin, Texas is the ninth-ranked player in his class, and the highest-ranked power forward, per 247Sports’ composite. He scheduled a surprise visit to Michigan last month and canceled a trip to North Carolina, elevating the Wolverines to players in a recruitment that also includes Auburn, Kentucky, Memphis and Texas.
After coming to Ann Arbor on Brown’s final visit, he doesn’t seem any closer to making a decision.
“I can’t tell you that right now, man,” Greg Brown II, Brown’s father, told UM Hoops after his official visit. “I like Michigan just as much as well like the other schools, at this point. We’re gonna have to see how it plays out as far as who winds up going to Michigan, what kids wind up leaving this year from Michigan, and as far as all of that goes.”
