A two-game losing streak took the wind out of Michigan’s sails last week, but Juwan Howard’s team has a chance to bounce back on Senior Night against Nebraska (6:30 p.m., FS1).
The Cornhuskers arrive in Ann Arbor on a 14-game losing streak and look like a team ready to turn the page on the season. They lost at home to Northwestern on Sunday night, an 81-76 overtime defeat in which they missed 22 free throws, and haven’t won since January 7th.
Michigan won the first meeting, just over a month ago in Lincoln, with its season on the brink. The Wolverines were without Zavier Simpson (suspension) and Isaiah Livers (groin) but managed a comfortable 79-68 road win thanks to 20 points and eight rebounds from Eli Brooks.
