Juwan Howard, Hunter Dickinson, Franz Wagner and Isaiah Livers among All-Big Ten honorees

The 2020-21 All-Big Ten teams were announced on Tuesday afternoon and several Michigan players were honored by the conference’s coaches and media.

Michigan freshman Hunter Dickinson took down Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors by the coaches and media. Dickinson is Michigan’s first Freshman of the Year since Ignas Brazdeikis in 2018-19. He was also named to the All-Big Ten First Team according to the media.

Wolverine head coach Juwan Howard took home Big Ten Coach of the Year honors, also by the coaches and media, in just his second season in Ann Arbor. Howard led Michigan to the Big Ten Championship after being picked to finish sixth in the league in the preseason.

Iowa’s Luka Garza was named Big Ten Player of the Year. He was joined on the All-Big Ten First Team by Ayo Dosunmu, Kofi Cockburn as unanimous selections. EJ Liddell and Trevion Williams were first-teamers according to the coaches with Dickinson and Trayce Jackson-Davis named first-teamers by the media.

Michigan sophomore Franz Wagner was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team by the coaches and Third Team according to the media. Senior wing Isaiah Livers was a Second Team selection by the coaches and media.
