Michigan welcomes the No. 1 recruiting class in college basketball to campus this summer and we’ll be covering each prospect in detail as part of our 21 thoughts on 2021 series.
Today, we look at four-star guard Kobe Bufkin; a 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard ranked 43rd nationally by the 247 Sports Composite rankings. Despite a shortened season, Bufkin was named to McDonald’s All-American and Jordan Brand Classic rosters, although neither event hosted a game this season.
Bufkin was limited to six games in his senior season due to coronavirus impact on the 2021-22 season and a hairline fracture in his wrist that ended his season. Here are 21 thoughts on Bufkin, his development, and fit at the next level, including stats, video, scouting nuggets, and more. Previously: Isaiah Barnes
