2021-22 Season

Five Michigan basketball questions that will be answered this week

Michigan is off to a 2-0 start, but the competition will level up this week. The Wolverines handled Buffalo’s transition attack and Prairie View A&M’s aggressive defense, but games against Seton Hall, UNLV, and either Arizona or Wichita State will provide a much more reasonable benchmark of where this team stands.

Michigan has been practicing for a month and has played two games, a scrimmage and an exhibition, but the bright lights of high-major competition separate out the noise. The first week of the season set the baseline, but it also presented more questions than answers. Here are five things that we’ll learn about Michigan basketball this week.
