Who is your closest former Michigan player comparison for each current Michigan player in the rotation?

I’m confident the offense will be a tier below elite, top 20ish or better in the country. A defense also of that caliber generally tracks to a 3 seed. A defense of a lesser caliber (think ~150ish, Iowa last year a good example) may not make the tournament. I fear more of the latter given the limited athleticism in our bigs and the lack of size, but without elite speed, from our guards.
Do you share my thoughts on the defensive side of the court? Where might there be more room for upside than I’m seeing?

Should the NBA change the three point line? How would you fix it?

After seeing the two exhibition games, have you seen anything that has changed your opinion on Michigan’s floor and ceiling for the season?
What would you expect the tempo from Michigan to be once they settle into more defined roles and tougher opponents? You noted in the Toledo recap that Michigan had only two games played at a faster tempo than 85 possessions in the KenPom database.

Not Dylan, but what is this lack of size you’re talking about re our guards? Gayle and Jones have pretty good size for guards, Donaldson is not especially small for a PG, and he’s pretty physically strong, and Cason, while thin, has decent length. Add in Brooks, Pippen if/when he returns, and possibly a few guard as opposed to wing/SF minutes for Burnett, all of whom have no size issues for their position(s), and I’m not seeing this particular concern. Others, sure, but not this one.
