Serbian big man Aleksa Dimitrijevic will visit Michigan this weekend for Michigan’s home game against Michigan State on Friday. On3’s Joe Tipton first reported the news.
Dimitrijevic is also expected to visit Illinois and Creighton after his Michigan stop.
Dimitrijevic is a 7-foot big man who belongs to EuroLeague power KK Partizan’s development program. Dimitrijevic played with Partizan’s youth team in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament last year and is on loan at Serbian club Metalac Valjevo this season.
He also played with the Serbian U18 national team at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket over the summer, averaging 10.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. He started and helped lead Serbia to the title game. Notably, he made the roster over top-4o Washington commitment Niko Bundalo was one of the final cuts.
